MEBO GAVE ME HOPE OF REGENERATION

Follow up visit by Harry J. Gaynor, the President of National Burn Victim Foundation (NBVF)

MEBO INTERNATIONAL GROUP Oct. 29, 2002

In mid-September, 2002, a fax from New Jersey, USA gave us quite a shock. It was sent to us by Sandy Santi, the wife of Harry J. Gaynor, the President of the National Burn Victim Foundation. He had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer in July. Considering that Gaynor was now 80 years old, surgery did not seem like a good choice, so he was now receiving radiotherapy for treatment. He had experienced tremendous weight loss because of his difficulty in eating. Moreover, he became quite feeble and drowsy; sometimes he fell asleep while sitting. His doctor told him he only had four months left to live, at the most. But his wife explained that he was not going to give up and let it go easily. Even now, he was still keeping an optimistic attitude and was involved in his work of the foundation, insisting that he work in his office at least some of the time. Reading these words, I was welling up, with the image of this tall, determined senior American, this man who had devoted the latter half of his life to burn victims, to fulfill his commitment to ‘go to the end of the earth to find a solution to burn disfigurement.’ In 1989, he visited China with Dr. Anthony Barbara and his wife Helen to investigate the Moist Burn Therapy and witnessed the miraculous efficacy of Moist Exposed Burn Ointment (MEBO) in burned skin regeneration. His mission had taken him “halfway around the world, which is where I found hope.” Since then, he became fanatically devoted to popularizing the application of MEBO in the U.S. Over the past several decades, there have been many twists and turns in this pursuit, both for Harry Gaynor and for us. “Hopefully Dr. Xu’s research can help him somehow,” Santi asked at the end of the fax. “We definitely must and could do something for this loyal friend of MEBO”, Dr. Xu replied firmly after reading Sandy’s fax. “Please tell Gaynor to fight against cancer with the spirit of his escape from captivity in Romania during World War II. Send him some GIC (MEBO GastroIntestinal Capsules) right away and instruct him on the following regimen: squeeze the liquid contents out of the capsule coat for oral administration, 10 capsules a time, at least 3 times a day. Enclose the brochure for GIC explaining it’s our advanced technology and product of life regenerative medicine. It will help him. I will be flying to the West and visiting him soon and I will bring some more GIC.”
